Keeping track of the score on my way to 100 total rejections in 2025.
So far, it’s been mostly No.
But not only No.
For months, I submitted essay after essay into the void. Some came back with form responses, others with near-misses, and plenty with silence. I set out to collect 100 rejections in a single year, proof that I was writing, risking, and showing up.
TWO of those no's have already flipped!
Yes is a small word, but a big reminder that this process works.
2025 Score
Every rejection still tells a story. Some are indifferent, some are kind, some really sting.
But the yes? That’s the plot twist we write toward.
This isn’t a tally anymore. It’s a scoreboard. Follow along on my journey, now and beyond!
